This year the oldest LPGA tournament, the Portland Classic, will have its Amateur Open at the oldest golf course in Oregon (and west of the Mississippi) at Gearhart Golf Course located on the Oregon Coast. About an hour and half drive from Portland.

If you're interested in playing, you must be an amateur and with a handicap to 0.5 or less. The entry fee is $110. Sponsorships are available with an application.
